Liberal Democrats Trounce Tories with Massive Win in Dacorum for Candidate Adrian England

Liberal Democrat Adrian England has won the Adeyfield West by-election in Hemel Hempstead with a strong endorsement from local voters. The result was:
Adrian England (LIB DEM) 520 votes; 49% (+24%)Adrian said "Thank you to everyone who voted, supported and helped me in the by-election. I look forward to working with my fellow ward colleague Cllr Ron Tindall to bring the voice of the residents of Adeyfield West to the Council and assist residents in finding solutions to their problems."
Ron Tindall, Liberal Democrat County Councillor for Hemel Hempstead St Pauls - which includes the Adeyfield West DBC ward - commented, "Adrian will be a great addition to the Liberal Democrat team on Dacorum Council. He will strengthen our group and enable us to be more effective in holding the Conservative administration to account."
Sally Symington, Parliamentary Spokesperson for the Hemel Hempstead Constituency said, "I congratulate Adrian and his team on their success. He was a strong, hardworking local candidate who will represent well the people of Adeyfield West. They clearly felt that he and the local Liberal Democrats knew what the problems were and understood what had to be done to improve their neighbourhood.
